Victoria Arthur, LMSW

Victoria Arthur is a Licensed Social Worker and obtained her Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. Victoria specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who struggle with a myriad of mental health diagnoses, behavioral issues, and co-occuring disorders. She has clinical experience in special education, home and community-based, and outpatient settings. Through the use of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and mindfulness modalities, Victoria engages with patients to holistically address their perceived needs in a manner that is strength-based and realistic in the context of their overall lifestyle. Victoria is well-versed in the collaborative process of creating, establishing, and adjusting individualized behavioral modification plans for children in the context of their home, school, and community environments. She is also knowledgeable about local resources that may serve as community linkages in the interest of encouraging the use of positive coping skills, facilitating healthy family interactions, pursuing personal interests, or increasing socialization and therapeutic supports.
